[News] 89-born handsome and young musicians rise in music industry. ‘The appearance of new spice in Kpop scene’

On April 12th, Busker Busker won the first place in MnetMcountdown with their debut title song ‘Cherry Blossom Ending’. Despite the fact that their debut is among big names’ comebacks, 23 years old Jang Bum Jun swiped the digital chart with his simple self-composed songs, which is definitely an ‘incident’.
Born in 1989, 23 years-old young musicians’ force are rising fiercely. Not only Busker Busker’s Jang Bum Jun but also CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and Beast’s Yong Jun Hyung are all same age, born in 1989.
They are not that kind of boys in their twenties who hermit in their work place focusing only in music. They have great looks and also do acting and variety shows successfully just like most of popular idol groups while at the same time they manifest excellent music ability.
Since G-Dragon (born in 1988) made a mega hit with Big Bang’s ‘Lie’ in 2007 and has open the era of ‘young producer’, it has being continued to his 1 year younger juniors. It is the birth of ‘new spices’ in Kpop scene.
With his passion and aspiration into the Young Rock Spirit – Jung Yong Hwa
While making his acting debut in drama ‘You Are Beautiful’ and has been known as a vocalist of flower-handsome band, he is already a composer who released his self-composed songs several times. During his activity in Japan, his self-composed songs, ‘In My Head’ and ‘Where You Are’ made big hit.
Ever since he was in his junior high school, he had started to compose his songs by himself. Despite of his hectic schedules, he goes to bed after completed producing his music. The managers who live together with him were surprised by it. His next biggest goal is to create CNBLUE’s colour. He postponed his acting in drama in order to focus on CNBLUE’s next album for the next 3-4 months. Until now CNBLUE’s title songs were all written by other composers, as Jung Yong Hwa is confident of his music ability now, he will produce his song as a title track.
Jung Yong Hwa said, “Although it will be risky, I will put my effort to seek our own colour regardless of its success.” And he added, “I have outlined around 10 songs currently.”
His songs are mostly about his passion. He commented, “Although I like love songs, I rather like to sing about passion, ambition and aspiration. I’m producing mostly young rock genre with groovy sound.”
