CNBLUE is a rock band appearing at COUNTDOWN JAPAN for the first time, and it consists of one member at 22, another at 21 and the other two at 20.

The first song “Mr.KIA (Know It All)” started with Jung YongHwa (vocal & guitar)’s first word, “Come on!”. At the end of the song, each members gave greetings in Japanese, followed by the second song “Rain of Blessing” and the third song “Illusion”. For your information, these three songs’ lyrics are in English, Japanese & English, and English & Japanese. After that Jung YongHwa said, “I’m glad to spend the year end and new year with all these cool artists,” as they steered their direction at a burst from pop taste to heavy rock taste with “Just Please” that started with a shout “..our rock numbers. Let’s go!”

The performance has been with twin vocal of Jung YongHwa and Lee JongHyun (vocal & guitar), and their profile at official website states so as well, but for this song the bassist Lee JungShin did some rap too. Moreover, he has been singing too, so they’re practically triple vocal.

With keeping the momentum, they went to “One Time” and “I Don’t Know Why”. Then they went back a little to pop style with the next song “Kimio”, and they increased the temperature in the floor to the max. Then Kang MinHyuk (drummer) said,”Thank you. Thanks to everyone, this was really fun. Let’s rock and get excited in next year too”, and they finished their performance with “In My Head” that was just released in October. Both of their pop element and heavy element infused together in this killer tune.
It was really a “flexible” live performance. How interesting, this band is.
