CNBLUE decorated the grand finale of Japan’s A-Nation Music Week.
A-Nation took place from August 3-12, and its last day was named ‘Rock Nation’ and centered on rock artists.
The main stage was set up in Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium, and featured performances byCNBLUE, Anna Tsuchiya, Sads and VAMPS.
As soon as the four members — Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin—appeared onstage, the venue was filled with cheers and the crowd’s excitement. The audience then sang along to CNBLUE’s songs as it delivered its performance.
To the passionate reactions CNBLUE said, “We’re happy and thankful that we were able to be here for this great performance.”
A-Nation is one of Japan’s biggest summer music festivals, and is known for drawing many prominent singers to perform. On the last day of the rock festival, VAMPS’ vocalist and guitarist Hyde was said to have asked CNBLUE to perform with him.
Many artists including M-Flo, The Gazette and AKB48 performed for the 10-day festival of A-Nation, and Music Week, which brought together fashion, food and amusements around music, drew many favorable reviews from those who had attended.
