CNBLUE's major debut Japanese single "In My Head" has surpassed 100,000 copies sold since its official release on October 19th. According to the RIAJ in Japan, an artist's single/album will be certified gold once it has sold at least 100,000 units.
In March 2011, CNBLUE released their album "First Step" in Korea, which sold over 100,000 copies. The album was also released in Taiwan, where it swept first place across the charts.
Prior to making their debut in Japan, CNBLUE held various indie activities in Japan and have had a supporting fanbase ever since. "In My Head" marks CNBLUE's entrance into Japanese mainstream music. Their guerilla concert in Japan became a hit and attracted over 7,000 enthusiastic fans. The single has also climbed the Oricon charts, peaking in 3rd place on the Daily charts.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE will be kickstarting their Japan nationwide tour in December.
