[News|Photos] CNBLUE Successfully Concludes First Visit Outside Asia At Stand Up by M Live in LA

In CNBLUE‘s first ever concert foray outside of Asia, and into a place where a lot of artists they admire find their roots, Korea’s premiere band came prepared to bring the house down at Stand Up by M Live, held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on March 9th. Being only half of this joint concert with FTISLAND, CNBLUE performed as if they are intent on winning some more fans over.

With an hour-long performance, CNBLUE rocked to their English, Japanese and Korean hits, including the recently released Japanese track, Where You Are. Each member of this quartet gave their all with leader Jung Yong Hwa‘s comical stage antics and guitar prowess charming the audience. Bassist Lee Jung Shin, also the group’s maknae, stands tall with his confidence and charisma, supporting his leader in audience dialogue, while giving the band’s sound the body required for a rock-out performance. Guitarist Lee Jong Hyun passionately strummed and hit all the right chords, proving that electrifying music is created only with passion and creativity. Drummer Kang Min Hyuk, at his unique spot towering over the stage, made his presence felt with beats and rhythm that complements the band’s distinctive sound.

By the end of their segment, fans and concertgoers were left wanting more, proving that a solo tour can be feasible.

Post-concert, fans of FTISLAND were seen commenting on social media sites as having been won over as fans of CNBLUE as well. CNBLUE also brought in a unique fan demographic, outside of the stereotypical idol audience, with people from all ages and gender professing attendance as BOICE at the Nokia Theater.

With a strong and memorable performance on that particular Friday night, anyone can really wish that this is not their last visit outside of Asia or even within the United States.
